Donate In Person
Come by the WaterWheel table at any stop on the Phish tour to make a donation. While you’re there, check out our super cool merch (tee shirts, hoodies, posters, stickers, pins and more!), and say hello to our awesome touring team. We might even be raffling off amazing prizes, or Jim Pollock might be signing some artwork.

Matching Donations
We are always thrilled to receive matching donations and are set up to receive them from many companies. Some companies that provide matches to their employees’ donations are limited to donating only to public 501(c)(3) nonprofits. WaterWheel is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit. If you are trying to facilitate a matching donation from your employer and are not able to select WaterWheel as the recipient, you can instead choose The Vermont Community Foundation, a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit who we partner with, and enter WaterWheel Foundation Fund as the Designation fund where the donation should be made. The Vermont Community Foundation will then direct the funds to us when they receive them. If you have any questions or need assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

How can I make a donation to the Divided Sky Foundation?
Great question! The Divided Sky Foundation has set up their own account so people can donate directly to them. For more information and to donate, visit the Divided Sky Foundation website.

I'd like to make a donation in honor of or in memory of a loved one. How do I do that?
A donation to WaterWheel is a beautiful way to pay tribute to a loved one, and celebrate their connection to the band and community.
To make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one online, select the In Honor Of/In Memory Of option above. You can also send us a check using the information above. Be sure to note the name of the person whom you are making the donation in honor/memory of, and please feel free to include any information you’d like to share with us about them.
Also, if you have it, please include the contact info (email and/or mailing address) of the person (for in honor of gifts) or their family (for memorial gifts) with your donation so we can notify them of your thoughtful tribute.
My company has a match program. Can I submit The WaterWheel Foundation?
That would be great! Our EIN is 13-3948773. Please note: The WaterWheel Foundation is a non-operating, PRIVATE Foundation. It is NOT a Public Charity. In some cases, companies cannot match with us because we are a non-operating private foundation. Best to check and ask if this might be the issue.
I would love to make a donation to a specific beneficiary or campaign. How do I do that?
No problem! When you make a donation online, please indicate which beneficiary/campaign is it for, or if you send a check include a note, and we will be sure that the funds go to the correct place.

Our goal is to email donors receipts for donations of $250+ received the month prior. If you did not receive one, or would like a year-end receipt for total donations received throughout the year, please get in touch with us using the contact form. Our EIN is 13-3948773.
