Second Harvest Food Bank believes that everyone in the community should have equal access to nutritious, affordable, and culturally meaningful food. Through core services of food acquisition and storage, food distribution, and community partnerships they provide those facing hunger in the community access to enough nutritious food to thrive.

7/11 Noblesville, IN – Indy Book Project
Indy Book Project is on a mission to ensure all children in the Indianapolis area have access to books. They collect books from the community, then sort, box, and get them right back into the hands of children who need them most.

7/15 Savannah, GA – Humane Society Greater Savannah
Humane Society for Greater Savannah envisions a community that understands, values and promotes the ways in which pets enrich our lives, and works to better the lives of pets and people.

7/19 Columbia, MD – Howard Ecoworks
Howard Ecoworks engages and educates the community about environmental sustainability and restoration, while creating pathways to green jobs through our workforce development programs. They design, install, and maintain attractive and resilient landscapes with plants and trees native to the local environment to enhance habitat, benefit pollinators, and local wildlife.

7/23 New York, NY – Sidewalk Samaritans
Sidewalk Samaritan’s mission is to directly aid and provide necessary items to the unhoused of New York City, while indirectly inspiring others to look to their own communities and find ways to assist those in need.

7/27 New York, NY – Encore Community Services
The mission of Encore Community Services is to provide care and service to the elderly of the Clinton/Times Square/Midtown communities, and to any elderly person who comes to us; to assist those who are vulnerable and frail, poor and homeless, homebound and lonely, frequently desperate, most often ignored; to help them with their daily needs that they might live as independently as possible, with dignity and decency, in a non-institutional manner, in a safe and caring environment.

8/1 Boston, MA – Victory Programs
Victory Programs opens the door to hope, recovery, and community for individuals and families facing homelessness, addiction, or other chronic health conditions. They foster a world where everyone has access to safe, healthy, and inclusive communities.
