The Bangor Area Homeless Shelter is a dry shelter whose mission is to support and strengthen the community by providing emergency shelter and supportive services to people who are homeless or at risk and to advocate for collaborative, locally driven solutions to end homelessness.

7/19 Philadelphia, PA – Libertae

Libertae is one of a very small number of treatment programs in Pennsylvania dedicated to treating and supporting women with substance use disorders. With an emphasis on gender-informed treatment, we strive to create an environment that reflects an understanding of women’s lives and that responds to their challenges.

Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Island’s food insecure and stamp out the root causes of hunger since our founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980.

We are a statewide network of over 60 environmental, community, and environmental justice organizations focused on protecting North Carolina’s environment and public health. NC Conservation Network supports, trains, and coordinates diverse groups and directly advocates to achieve equitable and sustainable solutions for our environment.

7/30 Columbia, MD – Beats Not Bullets

The Dream Bigger Community Institute, located in Baltimore, Maryland is currently expanding its flagship initiative The Beats Not Bullets (BNB) program which aims to increase Middle & High School age students’ knowledge of the sound engineering and the recording industry. Participants will graduate with improved awareness, attitude and practice of using instruments, computer software and audio equipment to create music and audio production.

8/2 Cuyahoga Falls, OH – Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank

The Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank’s mission is to lead a collaborative network that empowers people to experience healthy and hunger-free lives. We distribute food to feed people, and we advocate, engage and convene our community in the fight to end hunger.

8/3 Clarkston, MI – The Greening of Detroit

Inspiring sustainable growth of a healthy urban community through trees, green spaces, healthy living, education, training and job opportunities.

8/5 – 8/7 Atlantic City – Homelessness + Hunger Assistance

This weekend in Atlantic City, we will be collecting donations to aid homelessness and hunger issues in the local area. Please stop by the WaterWheel table in AC and make a donation to help those in need. No donation is too small!
